This recently purchased, overgrown plot- including wildflower meadow & woodland - will provide a fantastic amenity in the heart of Strachan. With the help of Just Transition Funding, the site can be cleared and made safe, the paths better maintained, trees managed and equipment bought so that volunteers (of all ages and abilities) from our community can make a start on transforming the remaining plot into a beautiful wildlife friendly community garden. It is envisaged that Strachan Community Garden and Woodlands will become a recognised hub for outdoor learning and outdoor socialising for generations to come.
