This project will support cycle travel for all ages and abilities in Ellon, reducing journeys made by polluting vehicles. Secure bike racks and a bike repair station will be installed in our Deer Park alongside e-bike charging points powered by our solar panels, allowing cyclists from near and far to recharge for their onward journey.

A hugely popular trishaw, operated by “Cycling Without Age Scotland”, provides free tours of the town and Ellon Castle Gardens for residents of the local care homes. This grant will provide secure storage for the trishaw where it will be recharged by our solar panels.
