The Compass Project

Funding awarded: £12,907.35

About this project

COMPASS is a community-focused initiative transforming a 4.1-acre site into a hub for healthy, sustainable living. We provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds, including those with physical and mental health challenges, learning disabilities, and those experiencing social isolation.

We are seeking support to upgrade our Volunteer Hub by repairing its windows and doors to improve energy efficiency and equipping our outdoor volunteer cabins with insulation and solar panels to generate renewable energy. This project will enhance volunteer opportunities and experiences while expanding our green and social prescribing programmes, offering physical, social, and emotional benefits.
