This partnership aims to support users to modernise the allotment plot, creating a sustainable space for all pupils, staff, school families and young unaccompanied asylum-seekers to learn together. The space will be a haven for learning about sustainable land management, food production, mindfulness and mental health. Through collaboration and friendship, both Bucksburn Academy and YAHYA’s International Hub will work together, towards a sustainable vision with respect for each other, the environment and the local community. The plot will become accessible to all users with wheelchair access, raised beds, a sensory garden and sheltered gathering space.
