Murtle Market
Zero-waste organic farm shop and refillery brought to you by young people with additional support needs
Funding awarded: £49,512.87
About this project
Thank you for voting for us to purchase an electric delivery van for young people with learning disabilities, supported by staff, to undertake deliveries of zero-waste organic produce to the public. Reducing emissions by 4.5 tonnes, while creating vital skills development and work experience for young people with additional support needs. Everyone must play a role in the Just Transition. Yet, 96% of adults with learning disabilities are unemployed because of barriers they face. A section of our community is being left out. Thank you for your vote!
