Our group is a supporter of Magpie. We would be providing funds so they can purchase a van which will give them security in continuing to support those in Aberdeenshire South.

Magpie will use the van for their free collection service, delivery of goods and continued support through their social gifting service. Magpie also supports Aberdeenshire South Foodbank with providing food parcels along with their gifting service, as well as helping to deliver around 100 food parcels at Christmas time.

This means Magpie diverts 22 tons of items that would otherwise have went into landfill. Additional note regarding this project: Whilst the vehicle being funded can support decarbonisation for this organisation due to it being a newer model than is already available to them and ULEZ compliant, this is not an electric or hybrid vehicle.
