Banchory Paths would like to upgrade core paths within the attractive forest environment of Corsee Woods into a high-quality walking and cycling loop that will last for many years. This will encourage a wider range of people, including young families, to walk more and enjoy nature, thereby improving physical and mental health for residents and visitors to the town. The upgraded paths will be fully disability compliant and provide traffic-free routes that link new housing developments at Inchmarlo, Upper Lochton and other parts of Banchory to the forest as well as the new and increasingly popular mountain bike trails.
