AARC is supporting New Scots with volunteering across Aberdeen City. This summer have undertaken large projects in a number of community gardens, but we don't have the tools to do this effectively or efficiently. It has been particularly difficult when supporting brand new gardens! We want to purchase battery operated tools, including brush cutters and hedge trimmers, so that we have man power and the tools for our projects. These projects benefit the communities we work with, but are also a great way for our New Scots to give back to their new communities, while improving their mental health.
