Our project will support local residents by reducing food waste. We would like to purchase an Electric vehicle to collect food surplus from local suppliers for distribution through Powis Community Centre.

This grant will enable us to reduce our carbon footprint, increase our pool of volunteers, and distribute surplus food to those who need it and to those who can use it.

We started this project to support our neighbours who were isolating during Covid, and demand has continued to grow. To make this project sustainable we need a community vehicle that can be insured for and driven by volunteers.
